Dr. Lynette McDonald opened this practice in 1989. Over the years, Lynette pulled together a wonderful team. Dr. Mandy Middleton joined the practice in 2014. Lynette has since moved with her husband to the Wilmington area.

Our experienced, dedicated staff works like a well-oiled machine to understand all of your needs and to ensure you consistently receive efficient, comfortable, and dependable professional care. Every year we invest many hours continuing our education and updating our techniques to provide the best care in the best environment. Our state of the art dental office is conveniently located and has served the Fayetteville, NC community since 1989. Drop by anytime, you’re always welcome!

Mandy Barkman Middleton, DDS | UNC- Chapel Hill
Dr. Mandy Barkman Middleton was born and raised here in Fayetteville, NC. After graduation from Seventy-First High School, she attended Peace College followed by NC State University where she earned a BA in English. Following undergrad, she ventured to southern California (for the weather) where she earned an MBA from San Diego State University and met her husband, Dale.
After getting married, Dale and Mandy called Wilmington home for 5 years. While there, they had two kids- Alli and Will. In 2009, they moved to Durham for dental school. She graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill Dental School in 2013 and then completed a one-year residency program at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Hospital where comprehensive care was her ultimate goal for each patient.
Mandy is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and has invested many, many hours in Invisalign training.
When not working, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends. Tennis is a favorite hobby. Mandy attends Haymount United Methodist Church- the church in which she was raised.
Meredith is the laughter and heart of the front area in the office. In 2000, she made the move from the mortgage world to that of our office financial and schedule coordinator! She is also cross trained in clinical duties behind the scenes. She excels in patient contact and personally making it a point to know every patient thus assuring their needs are met in a timely manner. If you need a certain day and time, rest assured, Meredith will make it happen- and deliver with a smile!

Carlye joined our practice in early 2017 to help Meredith at the front desk. She enjoys taking care of her patients and invites you to come by and meet her, take a tour of the office, and schedule a consultation. She enjoys making patients achieve the smile of their dreams!

​Evie has been a member of our dental team for over twenty-five years. She brings to the team a wealth of information stemming from growing up in a dental family, working many years for a gum specialist, and her active participation in numerous dental educational forums. As a hygienist, Evie particularly enjoys educating her patients on current oral hygiene advances as well as helping them set up a program designed to improve their oral health. Her patients appreciate her gentle dental care along with her warm smile and demeanor that says, "welcome" and "how can I help you?"

Lauren is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been part of our dental team for several years and came highly recommended by her dental professors (even years after having been a student). Lauren brings such positive energy to our team. The patients comment about her thorough cleanings but gentle touch. Her goal is to provide each patient with the best quality care in a kind and caring manner.

Lana initially joined our team in 2017 brand new out of dental assisting school. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Fayetteville Technical Community College in May of 2023. How fitting that her first position after she receives her dental license will be with us to fill in for Lauren's maternity leave. She is a joy to be around and can be found doing anything and everything we need including assisting Dr. Middleton chairside and helping Meredith with front desk tasks. She is an incredibly team player who we are blessed to get to watch grow her dental career and work alongside.

While Tami joined our practice this past year, Tami has several years of dental assisting experience. She excels in patient contact and personally makes it a point to know every patient. She especially enjoys working with Invisalign- a skill she's been working on for several years and one we consider an incredible asset. She promotes patient care by listening to the patient's needs and helping them meet their expectations in a caring atmosphere.

Lakin initially joined us in 2017 and brought with her years of assisting experience from another large office in the area. After her son was born during Covid, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom for several years. We were lucky to have her return to us a little less than a year ago. What an asset to our office she is! When not working chairside or running sterilization, Lakin focuses on making sure our VA patients needs are being approved. Lakin’s goal is to help the office operate smoothly, efficiently, and ensure that you receive the best dental experience possible.
